This is a rare 1 paisa coin .This is probably made up of bronze and doesnot bear the name of any queen or emperor the word one paisa is written in hindi,urdu and english.The english crown is shown on the face of the coin .The coin signifies the end of british rule in india

  1. The coin does not signify end of British rule in India. We got our independence in 1947 where as the coin was minted in 1945.

  2. Very nice blog. I like the old coins. The paisa coin reminded me of the Canadian Poppy coin we have with the hole except we filled it with a painted poppy ha ha ha, google it it's funny. All the best to you.
